A Cartoony Invasion

THE BRIEF: Turner Broadcasting System launched Cartoon Network Arabic and was looking to produce the Arabic adaptation of "Skatoony" for the MENA region. Skatoony is a fast-paced kids game show which mixes live action filmed kids with colorful characters who join in the game as contestants as well as audience members.

THE TREATMENT: Blink Studios crafted a distinctive series of 13 episodes, each spanning over 20 minutes, designed to captivate and resonate with audiences across the MENA region. By innovating the game show format, a diverse cast of animated characters were introduced, each representing the rich array of nationalities and dialects within the region. These characters, thoughtfully selected and brought to life, interact with real children in a series of trivia challenges and games. This approach not only made the show engaging and relatable but also celebrated the cultural diversity of Arabic-speaking audiences, creating a unique and immersive viewing experience.
