Interrupting Fashion

THE BRIEF: Magpies & Peacocks, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting sustainable fashion by creating eco-friendly pieces by re-designing and re-using donated clothes sought to create a showpiece film to commemorate their 10-year anniversary.

THE TREATMENT: Through the unique format of the Documation, which blends documentary storytelling with animation, we crafted a compelling narrative that brings the organization’s journey to life. Pushing the creative envelope, we created mixed media scenes where fabrics, textures, and beads, all inspired by the world of textiles, were brought together to form key moments in the film. Authentic interviews weave stories throughout, creating a captivating documentary-style film that not only showcases the founder’s vision and the organization’s impact but also earned Blink Studios 3 Telly Awards.
